My Goals

• Gain confidence with the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Get into some weird experimental narrative forms
• Learn to combine Photoshop and Dreamweaver to create well-designed sites
• Learn the dos and don'ts of designing for the web (especially with formatting for a variety of devices and displays)

My Studies

I'm majoring in digital arts, and I'm sort of halfway between sophomore and junior because I'm a transfer student and I switched from software engineering (and biomedical engineering before that). I'm focusing on 3D modeling and animation, though I'm fairy undecided on what I'd like to do with that one day. Animation for film, game art, VFX, and freelance art all sound very interesting to me.

My Art

My medium of choice for the past few years has been 3D digital art. I taught myself how to use Blender and it's my software of choice (sorry Bart). I enjoy aiming for photorealism but I'm also drawn towards heavily stylized forms of 3D such as toon shading and claymation. I especially enjoy creating procedural materials and sci-fi scenes. Aside from 3D, I also enjoy drawing, mainly with graphite and colored pencils.
